I wrote my first ebook in 2017.
It was a guide for moms who wanted to do Disneyland with a baby.
I wrote out each of the rides they could go on, shows they could watch, activities they could do, and where the Baby Care Centers were.
Honestly all this info was available online for free, but I bundled it up in a way that made it so they didn't have to go searching all the nooks and crannies of the Disneyland website to find out the info they needed.
What inspired me to write and sell an ebook...
One day while listening to a podcast, this woman talked about how she ran a recipe/cooking blog. She put together her top dessert recipes into a PDF file, and sold it on her site for $12.
EVEN THOUGH ALL THE RECIPES WERE FREE ON HER SITE.
She said she made it super clear that they could get the recipes for free on her website, or they could pay the $12 and have a PDF download they could access for life.
She ended up making over SIX FIGURES from these $12 PDFs she was putting together.
I realized I didn't have to have a bunch of hidden secrets or unusual knowledge to sell an ebook, I just needed to put information together in a way that made someone else's life easier.
